On a grey day in NYC we packed up Oksana’s SUV and headed to Williamsburg to shoot our first collection. As with any shoot, the logistics were endless. From styling, to studio, to finding our gorgeous model Natalia (check out our interview with her
here), to bringing it all together. It really was a team effort with new and old friends. Dina Kantor shot the campaign. She is amazing. Side note, Dina started in advertising and gave me my first job before she went back to school to become a professional photographer. She is a local mom to Max and Maya. Maya was born in January during the biggest blizzard of the year. She is now four months old and by far the cutest member of team allette. Yup, Maya is the baby in our editorial shots. In between nursing feeds, she gave Natalia some serious on-camera competition. She was so good to work with. It was a long but exciting day. Everyone gave it their all and to this we say thank you, thank you, thank you. We’re already planning the Fall shoot as well as a video (more on that soon!). In the meantime, here are some of our favorite behind-the-scenes pics from the day.

Love, allette

Oksana holding Maya (and clearly having major baby envy) while Natalia cooes at her. Lindsay (our wonderful makeup artist) and Dante (my favorite hairstylist in the world) are also wrapped around her little fingers. This girl is going places.
